Mr Peter Clarke is a highly skilled and reputable surgeon specialising in head and neck surgery and skull base surgery which are sub-specialities of ENT surgery. He works at Charing Cross Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare Trust, where he sees and treats patients referred from other ENT and head and neck specialists from around the country.
He continues to do some specialist NHS clinics but no longer sees any private patients and recommends Mr Cameron Davies-Husband (secretary – cameron.davies-husband@privatepractice.healthcare). Mr Clarke works with Mr Davies-Husband at Charing Cross Hospital for the NHS and shares the same approach to head and neck cancer care.
Mr Clarke is principally a cancer surgeon. He investigates and treats tumours affecting the complex structures in the head and neck including the bones of the skull base and face, the sinuses, the cranial nerves, carotid vessels, the salivary glands, the upper airway and the upper digestive tract. He has a particular interest in voice and swallow after laryngectomy.
He also specialises in some rare problems including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, parapharyngeal masses, carotid body tumours, olfactory neuroblastomas and adenoid cystic carcinomas. He has huge experience operating on parotid tumours.
